Patchy rain over Wales and central England spreading northwards

Today:

Patchy rain over Wales and central England spreading northwards with some drier and brighter conditions developing to the northeast of high ground. Breezy through the day and mild for most.

Tonight:

Some mostly light rain, particularly for high ground. Breezy over England and Wales but increasingly windy Scotland and Northern Ireland. Far northwest and far north very windy for a time.


Monday:

Very strong winds at first in far north otherwise winds easing for most with blustery showers in the northwest. Some rain Wales and central England becoming heavier later.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Unsettled initially. Breezy in the north with persistent, rain arriving in the northwest through Tuesday. Elsewhere, cloudy with rain at times. Becoming more settled later in the week. Mild throughout.
