Published

Today:

Most areas fine and dry with some sunny spells and warmer than recently. Some coastal eastern areas cloudier to start, while parts of northwest UK cloudier, perhaps with a little drizzle at times but this mostly later in the day.

Tonight:

Cloudier conditions in the northwest sinking southwards, with some light rain or drizzle for coasts and upslopes. The far east also cloudier. Between good clear spells.

Thursday:

Cloudy start for many. Some drizzle possible at first over hills in west. Then brightening up with good sunny spells. Warm for most. Cooler in eastern England with onshore winds.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

Fine, dry and very warm for most. Cloudier at times in the far north of Scotland and Northern Isles. Cooler here, as well as other coasts where onshore flow develops.
