Weather: Fine and dry with sunny spells

Today:

Cloudy start for many parts but this lifting and breaking during the day with good sunny spells. Cooler than previous days in the east with brisk winds and the chance of isolated showers. Still warm in the west.

Tonight:

Breezy and fairly cloudy in the north and east, perhaps with an isolated shower. Clearer spells in the west and cool for parts of Wales, west England and central Scotland.

Friday:

Another day with sunny spells for many, though cloudier for central parts of England and east Wales. Perhaps an isolated shower in the east where still breezy.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Generally fine with bright or sunny spells; the west sunniest and warm, with the east somewhat cooler with the odd light coastal shower.
