Today:

Bright with sunny spells in the west with early showers gradually fading, best of the sunshine Northern Ireland and western Scotland. Elsewhere, cloudier with showers or rain at times. Windy at first and feeling cold.

Tonight:

Cold with clear spells this evening. Turning cloudier and windier overnight with rain developing in the north and west with some hill snow over northern England and Scotland.


Monday:

Early rain and hill snow in the north and west spreading eastwards, clearing eastern UK during the afternoon. Sunny spells and heavy, blustery showers follow. Windy and blustery.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Wet with snow on the hills and very windy Tuesday and Wednesday, with coastal gales in the west. Perhaps drier to start on Thursday before becoming wet and windy again.
