Largely cloudy with outbreaks of rain across southern England and Wales, which could be heavy with thunder at times, slowly clearing east

This Evening and Tonight:

Many northern and central areas dry, although low cloud may give drizzle in parts of the east, particularly hills in northeast England.

Clearer for some areas further west. Southern areas of England cloudier with outbreaks of rain, possibly heavy.


Sunday:

Low cloud slow to clear some eastern fringes, many other northern areas bright and warm. Cloudier further south with increasing likelihood of heavy or thundery rain, persisting into the night.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Largely cloudy with outbreaks of rain across southern England and Wales, which could be heavy with thunder at times, slowly clearing east. Fine with warm sunny spells to the north.
