Coastal parts of the UK are expected to remain breezy, with temperatures reaching up to 20C

Today: Cloudy start and dry for most. Some cloud breaks developing through the afternoon, most frequent towards the south and east. Best of the sunny spells are likely across Kent and Sussex. Coastal parts remaining breezy however. Maximum temperature 20 °C.

Tonight: Staying dry overnight. Clear spells will become limited, however, as cloud thickening again, especially across northern parts and after midnight. Minimum temperature 12 °C.

Thursday: Rather cloudy start but dry. Cloud then breaking and thinning with some brighter intervals, and the odd sunny spell then developing. Best of the sunshine in the southwest. Maximum temperature 22 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday: Another cloudy start Friday, but brighter spells later. Little change Saturday, although winds strengthening through the day. Dry windy morning Sunday, but scattered showers possible later. Rather cool throughout.
