ULTIMATE INSULT: Meghan and Harry Slammed for releasing Netflix documentary as Royal family gather for first time since Queen's death
The Harry and Meghan Netflix series appears to have been deliberately timed to coincide with the three-month anniversary of the death of Queen Elizabeth II
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been slammed for releasing their Netflix documentary as the Royal Family gather for the first time since the Queen’s death.
The Harry & Meghan Netflix series appears to have been deliberately timed to coincide with the three-month anniversary of the death of Queen Elizabeth II, according to the former butler to King Charles.
Grant Harrold told GB News: “It’s the worst time isn't it? I mean with recent events, losing the Queen. It has been a difficult time for the Royal Family.

“I was just saying with Christmas just around the corner, when the Royal Family get together, suddenly we've got this dropping today, which just seems strange, do it right now, three months since the Queen died.
“I don't understand the timing of this and I think for the Royal Family it is going to be really difficult…you can rest assured that there'll be people within the teams that will watch it if they want to come back at them.

“I’m sure this could get really tricky because lawyers could get involved as well, if there are serious allegations there.”
Joining Andrew Pierce and Isabel Webster, he said: “This is what I find so puzzling with what's going on. It doesn't really make sense because he was very close to his father and his brother.

“They got on so well. They were best friends. They used to joke and laugh a lot and you know, just like any brothers who are best friends. His father, he went out his way on many occasions just to be a father.
“And that's how I couldn’t understand when I think a few years ago, he said that he didn't really have a fantastic upbringing and of course losing his mother.
“Of course that's devastating, but I think it's safe to say that the king did everything to try to make it as normal for them from that point onwards. So I was a bit confused why he said that about the relationship with them, because I didn't see that.”
Mr Harrold, who lives on the King’s Highgrove estate, told GB News: “I read somewhere that the Queen only ever thought twice about legal battles.
“That was her thing, ‘never complain, never explain’ just go on with it. Well, this is very different. This can be really damaging. This can change people's perception.
“You know, I remember when I worked in the household, that's what they used to say, everything you see and do even when you leave can influence or change people's perception.
“That's my staff member’s point of view, you can only imagine an actual member, their point of view.”
