Prince William made it "very clear" Harry's input on Charlotte and Louis was unwelcome

Prince Harry has admitted he worries his niece Charlotte and nephew Louis will suffer the same fate in the Royal Family that he did.

The Duke of Sussex said he wanted to do everything possible to ensure no one else in his family was left feeling like the "spare to the heir" in future.

In his latest interview to promote his autobiography, the 38-year-old said he had held conversations with Prince William about his anxieties for the two young royals.

And he added his brother had made it "very clear" his input on the futures of Charlotte and Louis was unwelcome.

In his book, Spare, Harry claims on multiple occasions that Palace officials would brief against him in order to protect William given his role as the future head of the Firm.

With Prince George set to one day become King, Harry said he fears that Charlotte and Louis will one day end up with the same treatment as him.

"If I see wrongdoing and a pattern of behaviour that is harming people, I will do everything I can to try and change it,” Prince Harry said in an interview with the Telegraph.

"As I know full well, within my family, if it’s not us, it’s going to be someone else.

"And though William and I have talked about it once or twice, and he has made it very clear to me that his kids are not my responsibility, I still feel a responsibility knowing that out of those three children, at least one will end up like me, the spare.

"And that hurts, that worries me."

He added that knows the press "have got a sh*t-tonne of dirt about my family" but that they are willing to trade information for stories about lesser royals.

"They sweep it under the carpet for juicy stories about someone else," he claimed.

A People Polling poll for GB News yesterday found that just 34 per cent of Britons were proud of the Royal Family.

Meanwhile, 31 per cent disagreed and 34 per cent of the public neither agree nor disagree, didn’t know or preferred not to say.

Defending his attacks on the monarchy, Harry said he does not want to see the end to the Royal Family.

He said: This is not about trying to collapse the monarchy, this is about trying to save them from themselves. "

And I know that I will get crucified by numerous people for saying that."
