Beyoncé texted Meghan Markle after her and Prince Harry's interview with Oprah Winfrey aired
Footage from the final three episodes of the Harry & Meghan docuseries shows Beyoncé saying Meghan Markle was “selected to break generational curses”.
The final part of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s controversial documentary has aired on Netflix.
Home video footage shown appears to show the couple watching their interview with Oprah Winfrey but the television screen is not shown.

Prince Harry puts his hand over Meghan’s eyes to shield her from the television.
The documentary moves to the following day with the couple sat at a desk behind their laptops.
Meghan says “Beyoncé just texted” and Harry throws his hands up and jokes “shut up!”
He adds: “Just checking in, just casual,” and tells Meghan to call her.
Meghan proceeds to reads out a segment of the text from the singer in front of the camera: “She said she wants me to feel safe and protected. She admires and respects my bravery and vulnerability and she thinks I was selected to break generational curses that need to be healed.”
Harry responds “that’s well said”.

Elsewhere, whilst dealing with the backlash from the Oprah interview. Harry holds up his phone to Meghan to show her a text from his brother William and her reaction is to say “wow” as she looks at its screen.
The last three episodes of the six-part Harry & Meghan series streamed at 8am on Thursday.
