Sussex Police release Premier League player on bail after he was arrested at bar in early hours of morning

Yves Bissouma has been released on bail after he was arrested by police and marched out of a nightclub at 2am yesterday.

The 25 year old Brighton midfielder was arrested publicly in the city nightclub The Arch and has spent the day in custody.

Yves Bissouma was partying with a friend in the early hours when he was detained by police and led out in handcuffs at around 2am.

Bissouma is the Brighton midfielder and has been linked with clubs including Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal.

Sussex Police confirmed last night that a man in his 20s and another in his 40s had been arrested “in the early hours”, following an alleged incident at around 1.30am.

An insider told The Sun: “The club was packed — it was a popular student night, especially with freshers in town.

“People were starstruck to see Bissouma in the club — he’s Brighton’s best player at the moment, so he definitely caught some eyes.

“They were even more shocked to see him later being led away in handcuffs outside the club.”
