The protest comes amid fears that thousands of NHS works could face a mass sacking for failing to meet the mandatory Covid vaccine requirement leaving the NHS under more pressure from understaffing.

Similar protests also took place in Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester and Glasgow as protestors fight the oncoming start date of the vaccine mandate on April 1st.

A midwife who has been working for the NHS since 2000 and chose to remain anonymous told GB News: "I'm here because I feel that I don't have a choice to decide what to do with my own body. The Government wants me to have a vaccine that I don't want to have.

"I feel threatened because I'm going to lose my job, I feel vulnerable I don't know what to do"

Another specialist nurse in diabetes, Janice said: "On the 31st of March I’ll be sacked after nearly 48 years in the NHS"

Former HNS surgeon Tony Hinton told Alastair Stewart that he supported NHS staff from the middle of the protest.

He said, ”Members of the public should have no concerns about being looked after by a doctor or a nurse that is unvaccinated. Many if those staff are immune from having already caught Covid.
