For tonight there will be dense Fog in places, developing over eastern Wales and southern, eastern and central England this evening and persisting overnight.

Today:

After a chilly start most areas will be fine and dry with plenty of sunshine today. Parts of the far north and west of Scotland, northwest England and the Midlands will be cloudier at times thought. Breezy in the north.


Tonight:

Fog, dense in places, developing over eastern Wales and southern, eastern and central England this evening and persisting overnight. Otherwise mainly dry with clear spells. Cold with frost.

Tuesday:

Early fog over England and Wales will slowly lift leaving the rest of the day cold and mostly cloudy. Elsewhere, bright at times but some rain in the northwest later.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

Rain across the northwest spreading south Wednesday. Clearing to brighter and colder conditions, showers in the east. Often windy in the north and east. Becoming cloudier and milder by Friday.
