Magic FM presenter Emma B has claimed that Sarah Everard’s murderer Wayne Couzens “flashed” her in 2008. She says officers “laughed in her face” when she reported the alleged incident.

Couzens, a Metropolitan Police officer, falsely arrested 33-year-old Everard in order to kidnap her before raping and murdering her and was sentenced to a whole life order last month.

Speaking to The Telegraph Emma recounted how she was walking her baby in Greenwich after dropping her 5-year-old daughter to school 13 years ago.

She claims Couzens called out for her attention before dropping his trousers.

Wayne Couzens was employed as a special constable for Kent Police at the time of the alleged incident.

She recalled the moment in an interview, lifting her anonymity to speak to The Telegraph.

She said "I really wouldn't say anything out loud if I wasn't very sure, because it's important and it's serious.

"But as soon as I saw the pictures of him, I said 'That's him'."

After reporting the incident to 999 she recalls how officers "laughed" when she described "the graphic bits and what he was doing

"They thought that bit was particularly funny.

"The reason why I'm saying something is because now a girl is dead. I have a daughter who's at university."

It comes as former chief whip Julian Smith said a police and crime commissioner “should go” for suggesting women “need to be streetwise” about arrests in the wake of the Sarah Everard case.

Philip Allott, who oversees police and fire services in North Yorkshire, was widely condemned for his comments suggesting Ms Everard “never should have submitted” to the arrest by killer Wayne Couzens.
