Some Tesco customers will stop receiving automatic paper statements and vouchers via post.

The change will mean selected Clubcard holders will now receive such offers and statements by email.

The supermarket chain has already written to some customers to inform them of the change.

Shoppers who still wish to receive a paper statement, can still do so if they wish.

To do this, people should use the MyClubcard website online.

They then should log into their account, before clicking on “statement preferences” and selecting “by post”.

It is understood that customers will need to make this change by May 5 in order to receive your May statement via post.

A Clubcard allows shoppers to gain loyalty points on items in store and online, while they will also get points for fuel purchases.

Those points add up to vouchers which can be used to pay for items.

While Clubcard holders also receive cheaper deals on items than what other customers would receive.
