Swedish police cordon off part of Malmo shopping centre after shots fired
A statement from police said: "Shots have been fired at the Emporia shopping centre in Malmo"
Two people were injured in a shooting at the Emporia shopping centre in the Swedish city of Malmo and one suspect has been arrested, police have said.
Police said in a statement: "The immediate danger to the public is judged to be over.
"At present, the incident is considered to be connected to the criminal environment."
Earlier, police cordoned off part of the shopping centre after shots were fired.


They added that a "large amount of resources" were at the scene.
"Shots have been fired at the Emporia shopping centre in Malmo," they said in an earlier statement.
"The police are at the scene with a large amount of resources and the location has been cordoned off."
