Samantha Markle and Thomas Markle Jr have paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth II, describing her as the “world’s Queen”.
Meghan Markle’s half-sister and half-brother both offered their condolences to the British people following the former monarch’s death last Thursday.
While the pair also said their dad, Thomas Markle, who suffered a stroke earlier this year, wanted to also pay his respects to both the Royal Family and the people of Britain.
Speaking about Queen Elizabeth II on GB News’ Dan Wootton Tonight, Thomas Markle Jr said: “Such a remarkable person, she was the world’s Queen, the entire world.

“I don’t think there’s a more remarkable amazing woman on the planet.”
Speaking about when he found out about when he found out the news of her death, Thomas Jr added: “It was a very shocking morning, because it just didn’t feel right anyway, something was off.
“And then immediately after I called dad and he had already been informed as well. It was a very sad morning.”
Dan then asked: “How did your dad react?”

To which Thomas Jr replied: “Dad was and still is sad about it, as we all are.
“We feel as though we have some sort of connection to the late Queen and the British people.
“And on behalf of him and myself our deepest condolences go out to the late Queen and the everybody in the UK.”
While Samantha also passed on well-wishes on behalf of her dad.
She told Dan: “We spoke today and he was very clear about wishing to extend his reverence, his condolences and his heartfelt sorry for the British Royal Family as we all are.
“She’s become a part of American fibre as well, everyone’s mother, everyone’s grandmother, so I think it’s been very sad for us across the pond.
“So I’m honoured to extend my condolences to the British Royal Family and to the British people for this tragic loss, it’s so sad.
