Thousands of mourners have lined the streets as Queen Elizabeth II’s coffin arrived in Edinburgh.
On Sunday morning, the hearse carrying the coffin left Balmoral as it begun a six-hour journey to the Scottish capital.
Crowds took to the streets across the route, which included Aberdeen and Dundee, to pay their respects.
Shortly after 4pm, the coffin arrived at Holyroodhouse, where it will remain for the night.

The Princess Royal, her husband Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, the minister of Crathie Kirk and a representative of the Lord chamberlain’s Office were in the convoy following the coffin.

A single motorbike police outrider led the way as the hearse, followed by six vehicles, travelled at a stately pace towards Edinburgh.
At one point, as the cortege travelled through Dundee, a lone long-stemmed flower could be seen on the hearse windscreen and in a rural part of the route farmers paid homage to Queen Elizabeth with tractors lined up in a field.
Crowds filled the Royal Mile in Edinburgh as people waited for the arrival of the royal procession.
As the royal convoy travelled down the Royal Mile, the crowd fell silent in respect for Queen Elizabeth II as her coffin passed.
Moments later, a round of applause and cheers broke out across the crowd.
The Duke of York, and the Duke and Duchess of Wessex, received Queen Elizabeth II's coffin at the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
Queen Elizabeth II's cortege received a guard of honour by the King’s Bodyguard for Scotland (Royal Company of Archers) as it entered the palace.
Earlier in the day, The First Minister of Scotland Queen Elizabeth II an “extraordinary” woman.
In a tweet, Nicola Sturgeon said: “A sad and poignant moment as Her Majesty, The Queen leaves her beloved Balmoral for the final time.
“Today, as she makes her journey to Edinburgh, Scotland will pay tribute to an extraordinary woman.”
