Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to visit the UK next month but reports suggest there are "no plans" for them to see William and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge

Prince William will always prioritise the Royal Family over the relationship with his brother Prince Harry, the pair’s former private secretary has claimed.

Harry stepped down as a senior royal in 2020 before moving to the US to live alongside his wife Meghan Markle.

Since then Meghan and Harry have made a series of allegations about royal life, including racism claims against an unnamed member of the Royal Family during a wide-ranging interview with Oprah Winfrey.

As a result, the once inseparable brothers have drawn further and further away from each other.

And Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, who is also a godfather to William's son Prince George, said the Duke of Cambridge made a “conscious decision” to put the firm ahead of his brother after he stepped down as a senior royal.

Mr Lowther-Pinkerton said: “Prince William is very analytical and asks all the questions and makes sure that he's clear what you're asking him to do.

"His sort of moral compass is set absolutely rigidly due north. He has the clearest understanding of almost anybody I know of what is right and what is wrong and he won't waiver from it, even if it means he's going to take a hit."

Speaking on upcoming Channel 4 documentary 'The Real Windsors: A Very Modern Prince,' he added: "There are many examples of when I worked for him where it would have been very easy to take one route but it wouldn't have been the honourable or the right thing to do so he took the more difficult route."

It comes as Meghan and Harry are set to visit the UK next month for several charity events.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to stay in their Windsor estate, Frogmore Cottage, for the trip.

Despite William and Kate living in nearby Adelaide Cottage, reports suggest the Sussexes have "no plans" to see the Cambridges.
