Meghan and Harry returned to the UK for the recent Platinum Jubilee, but opted to keep a low profile and are not believed to have met William and Kate

Prince William is “still deeply upset” and feels “let down" by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, a friend of the Duke of Cambridge has claimed.

Meghan and Harry, alongside Archie and Lilibet, returned to the UK to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee earlier this month.

It came after the pair moved to the US in 2020, shortly after stepping down as senior royals.

Since then they have made a series of allegations about royal life, including racism claims against an unnamed member of the Royal Family during a wide-ranging interview with Oprah Winfrey.

As a result, the once inseparable brothers have drawn further and further away from each other, with both speaking about their fractured relationship.

And it seems like the relationship isn’t about to be fixed any time soon.

A friend of William’s told The Times: "He’s still deeply upset about it and feels let down, but he’s moved on."

Both Meghan and Harry kept a low profile during the Jubilee celebrations and were booed by members of the public outside St Paul’s Cathedral for the Service of Thanksgiving.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were seated in the second row of the congregation for the service, alongside Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie and their husbands, and Lady Sarah Chatto, the daughter of Princess Margaret, and her family.

They did not attend the Thanksgiving reception, the pageant or the Party at the Palace.
