Prince Harry took a private jet from California to Colorado this week to play in a polo tournament, with his kit taken in a separate car to him.

Harry was playing in a charity match, raising money for Sentebale – his Africa-based charity supporting youngsters with HIV.

The Duke of Sussex drove to the jet in an electric car, before boarding the £7.6million Bombardier Challenger for the two hour trip, with his polo kit arriving in Colorado later in a Range Rover.

Prince Harry was offered a spot on the jet which was already taking people to the tournament and flew back by commercial airline, according to The Telegraph.

Last month he told the UN General Assembly that climate change was “wreaking havoc on our planet, with the most vulnerable suffering most of all”.

Speaking after the polo match at a dinner, Harry said: “At Sentebale we strive to break generational cycles of trauma and stigma every day.

“By educating and empowering young people to know their status and to know they can live long, healthy lives while on medication, we aim to end HIV once and for all.

“By being here today, you are a part of our journey. So, we thank you. I thank you. And if she were here, I know my mother would thank you too.”

He continued that he will “share the spirit” of Diana, Princess of Wales, with his children as he marks the 25th anniversary of her death.

Harry said he wishes Archie and Lilibet could have met his late mother who he said “most certainly will never be forgotten”.

Appearing on Breakfast with Stephen and Anne, Dawn Neesom slammed Prince Harry’s decision to take a private jet, saying: “He tells all of us to worry about our week in Spain and feel guilty for getting on our budget airline. Hypocrisy isn’t it!’
