Prince Harry ‘pondering revenge’ on Royal Family after being ‘slighted’ at Jubilee, royal author tells GB News
Royal author Tom Bower believes Prince Harry could take his "revenge" when he releases his tell-all memoir
Prince Harry is “pondering” whether to take revenge on the Royal Family after being “slighted” during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, royal author Tom Bower has said.
Harry and his wife Meghan Markle stepped down as senior royals in 2020 before moving the US to live.
The pair returned to the UK to mark Her Majesty’s 70 years of reign but were forced to play a small role in the celebrations.
The Queen opted to limit the Platinum Jubilee Trooping the Colour balcony appearance to working members of her family, meaning Harry and Meghan were left off the list.
Speaking on GB News’ Dan Wootton Tonight, royal author Tom Bower shared a story about Harry and Meghan during the Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral, adding that the Duke Of Sussex could look for revenge for how he was treated during the Jubilee when he publishes his tell-all memoir later this year.
Mr Bower said: “What was a really remarkable story I heard was that Meghan and Harry were late deliberately so that they could make their own grand entrance.
“As they’re walking down the aisle they get to their seats nine and 10, they say everyone should move up so they could be on the aisle itself.
“‘No’ says the usher to Prince Harry, ‘you should sit in nine and 10.
“‘Who told me where to sit’ (Harry said).
“‘Your grandmother’ says the usher.
“And they really did in the end control it, no photographs on the next day at the Jubilee meeting at Windsor Castle.
“The Queen has seen through them, and I think Charles and William have encouraged her too.
“I think they hope for peace, but my feeling is that Harry is now pondering whether he should take his revenge as well for having been slighted during the Jubilee.
“Of course his revenge will be in the book he’s going to write.
“Meghan has had partly her revenge in Oprah Winfrey.
“But I think the only way they monetise themselves is by more and more revenge against the family who in the end wish them so well and wanted them to be members of the family.”
Mr Bower has written several biography’s including one, titled: “Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the war between the Windsors”, which was released earlier today.
