Police say they "have serious concerns for the welfare" of George Jack Temperley-Wells

Police have launched an urgent appeal to find a British boy who is missing after travelling to Turkey with his mum.

George Jack Temperley-Wells, 4, is said to have travelled from Darlington to Antalya, Turkey on June 29.


Police say the boy is believed to have travelled with his mum Brogan Elizabeth Temperley.

The pair are likely to have also spent time with George’s dad, Scott Nigel Wells during their trip.

George is described as having red hair, a pale complexion and dark eyes.

While his mum is being described by police as slim build with long, dark hair and dark eyes.

Police say the boy was last seen in the Marina area of Antalya.

In a statement, Durham Constabulary said: “Police have serious concerns for his welfare and need to urgently locate George and speak with his mother.

“Anyone who is in contact with her is asked to encourage her to contact the authorities in Turkey or the UK immediately to confirm her whereabouts and/or seek assistance to return home.

“If you are in the United Kingdom, please call Durham Constabulary on 101, quoting incident number 325 of June 30.

“If you are in Turkey, please either attend a local police station or call their emergency number on 112 / 115.
