Oasis legend Noel Gallagher was left crestfallen after a restaurant in Ibiza serenaded him with his own song Wonderwall.

The 55-year-old appeared horrified as the hit song played out and punters proceeded to sing the lyrics to him while he tried to enjoy his holiday in Spain.

Gallagher was sat with his wife Sara MacDonald and their son at a table in the restaurant.

A guest proceeded to film the full moment and share it on TikTok.

They said in the TikTok post: "Noel Gallagher from Oasis in Ibiza!!! Everyone was singing their song.

"I think he was a little embarrassed hehe."

Despite appearing uncomfortable, the family appeared to enjoy the moment as they began giggling while appearing to share a joke.

The hit song, released in 1995 as part of Oasis' What's the Story Morning Glory? album, remains well-loved by many and has solidified itself as one of the most popular songs in British history.

Despite Oasis' split 13 years ago, their songs remain ever popular.

Wonderwall's significance was reaffirmed as thousands watched Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds perform it at Glastonbury in June.

As the set drew to a close, Gallagher thanked the fans who had “stuck by them for the last 11 years” before ending with the classic Oasis track Don’t Look Back In Anger.

Noel and his brother Liam formed the classic rock band Oasis in 1991 but they have been embroiled in a feud since the band split in 2009.
