Nigel also hit out at schools and universities for telling "young white children that their forebears were dreadful people"

Nigel Farage has hit out at the “deliberate divisions Marxists are trying to force between black and white people”.

Nigel spoke about a newspaper clipping from 1997 which highlighted a survey carried out by Time-CNN in the US saying nine out of 10 black teenagers felt racism had very little impact on their day to day lives.

And speaking on GB News’ Farage, Nigel has questioned what has happened between 1997 and now.

Nigel said: “I found this newspaper clipping from 1997, it’s from associated press and it’s written about a survey that was done by Time-CNN in America.

“And it said that nearly nine out of 10 black teenagers said racism had little impact on their day to day lives, it did say it may be a problem in society.

“It all makes me wonder where we’ve got to today because now were telling young black people that they are victims, the world is against them.

“And we’re telling increasingly at school and university, young white children that their forebears were dreadful people.

“That they are somehow guilty because of that past and they themselves have white privileged that they should almost be ashamed off.

"I don’t think this is a good of healthy way to go.

“I think these deliberate divisions that somebody out there, the Marxists out there are trying to force between black and white people is just about the most unhealthy thing we’ve seen in society.

“We all want equality of opportunity, of course we do.

“But this constant attempt to paint one group as being victims and the others frankly of being oppressors is wrong and it's very, very bad for society.”
