Eight healthcare staff led by the doctor who challenged Sajid Javid earlier this month, Steve James, submitted a document to the High Court calling for a judicial review.

The lead solicitor for a group of NHS workers who have launched a legal campaign against the Government's vaccine mandate, has told GB News that the mandate "is unlawful and must be stopped".

Speaking exclusively to Michelle Dewberry's show on GB News as part of her campaign to #OutdateTheMandate, Stephen Jackson said: "We are challenging the policy, the mandate, we are saying it's unlawful and it should be stopped."

He said he was working with Dr. Steve James, who recently confronted Health Secretary Sajid Javid in a hospital over the NHS vaccine mandate.

Eight healthcare staff led by the doctor who challenged Sajid Javid earlier this month, Steve James, submitted a document to the High Court calling for a judicial review.

It says more than 100,000 unvaccinated workers face the sack if they don’t get the first dose by February 3 and the second on April 1.

They are being backed by campaign groups Together and NHS100K with solicitor firm Jackson Osborne representing them.

Mr Jackson told GB News viewers that many people are receiving pressure from their employers, yet warned that a notice to terminate employment isn't necessarily fair and could still amount to discrimination.

He added "resignation isn't necessarily the best thing", as he said it was for the employer to issue any notices of termination and people should let the employer take the risk of an unfair dismissal.
