The Duchess of Sussex befriended the American talk show host following the couple's tell-all interview last year

Meghan Markle has reportedly been frequenting the home of Hollywood superstar Oprah Winfrey as the two "kick back" with friends at her £72million mansion.

Alongside her husband Prince Harry, Meghan relocated to a nine-bedroom £11million mansion in Montecito, California, following their departure from the Royal Family in 2020.

Meghan and Harry continue to maintain a low profile, since their controversial exit, but have been spotted dining at lavish restaurants and hitting the hills for hikes with their dogs.

Since moving to their palatial Californian mansion, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have befriended Hollywood superstars such as James Corden, Orlando Bloom, and Oprah Winfrey.

TV sensation Oprah interviewed Meghan and Harry, covering topics including their marriage, motherhood and life in the Royal Family.

The interview proved controversial, reaping explosive reactions worldwide, after Meghan claimed there were concerns within the Royal Family about what colour their son Archie's skin would be.

Following on, the Duchess is now said to enjoy Oprah's company and reportedly visits her home on a regular basis.

A report in Closer magazine reads: "She spends a fair amount of time at Oprah’s palatial house, where they’ll kick back with her closest friend, Gayle King."

The pair, often accompanied by the TV Personality Ms King, discuss everything from the Duchess's future plans to "what’s going on back in the UK and how Harry’s coping with everything", the report adds.

Harry recently appeared in a short film for start-up BetterUp, emphasising the importance of achieving "peak mental fitness", encouraging people to "flex their minds" instead of "fixing them".

Detailing his personal experiences of bereavement and grief, the 37-year-old said: "Throughout the years of traveling around the world, what I saw was the similarities of experiences of trauma, of loss, of grief, of being human."

Meghan has been busy embroiling herself in politics and humanitarian charities, causing a stir following the recent overturning of the Roe vs Wade.

Following the ruling, the Duchess stated she would join protesters in Washington, demonstrating against the decision.

The Duke and Duchess flew back to the UK last month via a private jet, ahead of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

The couple kept a low profile during their visit, making only one public appearance at the Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral.
