Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have confirmed they will attend the Queen's Jubilee celebrations despite being banned from appearing on the Buckingham Palace balcony.
The Queen has limited the Platinum Jubilee Trooping the Colour balcony appearance to working members of her family, with the Prince Andrew and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex omitted from the line-up.
The monarch’s decision to only include royals carrying out official public duties was taken “after careful consideration”, Buckingham Palace said.

But despite that decision, Meghan and Harry have now confirmed they will still be in attendance.
A Sussex spokesperson said: "Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are excited and honoured to attend The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations this June with their children."
It will be the first time Harry and Meghan have brought their family to the UK since leaving for the US.
The couple did pay a fleeting visit to the Queen and Prince Charles before heading to the Invictus Games in the Netherlands last month.
Their attendance at the celebrations had been up in the air, with Harry recently citing security issues that needed to be addressed.
They will come face to face with Meghan's father, Thomas Markle who exclusively told GB News that he would be travelling to the UK for the jubilee.
Mr Markle told GB News that he thought Meghan and Harry would not travel to the UK after finding out that he would also be there.
He said: “I’m getting the feeling that if they know I’m coming, they won’t be coming.
“But if they do come, I’d love to reach out and speak with them and try to figure out what went wrong and how we can repair it.
“I don’t see that happening, but I’d certainly like to try.”
