Meghan Markle and Prince Harry could be arranging "secret meet-ups" with Prince William and Kate when they visit the UK next month, a commentator claims

Meghan and Harry will both be in the UK in early September.

The couple will travel to Manchester for the One Young World Summit on September 5, before heading to Germany for the Invictus Games Dusseldorf 2023 One Year to Go event, and then returning to the UK for the WellChild Awards on September 8.

Their visit to the UK will be the first time they have been back in the country since the Platinum Jubilee celebrations in early June.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to stay in their Windsor estate, Frogmore Cottage, for the trip.

But despite Kate and William living in nearby Adelaide Cottage, reports suggest the Sussexes have "no plans" to see the Cambridges.

Speaking to GB News, though, commentator Stephanie Takyi offered a different perspective.

She told Breakfast with Eamonn and Rosie: "Obviously, as we know, the brothers have a bit of a frosty relationship.

"At the Platinum Jubilee, they stayed as far away from each other as possible so I don't think anything's going to be mended in that relationship any time soon.

"But maybe stuff does happen behind closed doors that's not in the public glare.

"Maybe there are secret conversations and secret meet-ups which are not highlighted."

It came as Ms Takyi expressed her "delight" at the looming Sussex visit, stressing that: "From day one, Meghan and Harry have been about good causes that mean a lot to them."

During the trip, Meghan is set to make a keynote speech after meeting a group of delegates working on gender equality with Harry.

The Duchess is a counsellor for One Young World, alongside Justin Trudeau, Sir Richard Branson, and Jamie Oliver.

One Young World co-founders, David Jones and Kate Robertson said: “The Duchess of Sussex has been a truly amazing supporter of One Young World for the past eight years.

“It has been inspiring to see her continue to champion young leaders in our community, both in public and behind the scenes.

“We are so grateful for her ongoing support and can’t wait to welcome the Duke and Duchess to Manchester in September.”
