The Duke of Sussex was widely slammed for missing the memorial service of his grandfather

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could be guests at the wedding of Brooklyn Beckham, after they missed the memorial service of Prince Philip.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirmed they would not be returning to the UK for the service, with the pair still embroiled in a huge row with UK security services.

Harry was the only senior royal to miss the service, with even the disgraced Queen's son Prince Andrew appearing at the memorial.

But it has been reported that the pair could attend the star-studded event in Palm Beach, Florida.

David and Victoria Beckham are reportedly good friends with the Sussexes and are believed to have attended their wedding in 2018.

The ex-footie star and Spice Girl wife will be able to invite their own guests, and The Sun report that Harry and Meghan are top of their guest list.

A source told the paper: “Brooklyn’s wedding will be one of the most star-studded weddings of all time thanks to his parents’ connections.

“Prince Harry and Meghan are top of the pile as David and Victoria are good friends with them and know their attendance would make the day even more special.

“Their schedules are so hectic that David and Victoria want to get their invitations out as quickly as possible.

“Brooklyn’s godfather, Sir Elton John, is also a good pal of Harry and Meghan’s and Victoria and David hope his presence will also encourage them to take a pew.

“It’s going to be a real ‘who’s who’ of weddings — packed with famous faces.”

Royal biographer Angela Levin slammed the Prince this week, saying the reason he didn’t attend the service was because he doesn’t want to come to the UK “without a Netflix gang of photographers”.

Speaking on GB News Breakfast with Eamonn and Isabel, Ms Levin said: “He needs to make another documentary because they’ve got lots of money and they haven’t really done anything.

"I think that’s what it is, he wants to have that as an excuse.

"He can go around everywhere and do all these things, but you can’t have your royal cake and eat it I'm afraid."
