McDonald’s launches new permanent chicken burger item for first time since 2007
The fast-food giant says the McCrispy burger will be the 'crispiest, crunchiest chicken burger out there'
McDonald’s is launching a new permanent chicken burger item on its menus for the first time since 2007.
The fast-food giant says the McCrispy burger will be the "crispiest, crunchiest chicken burger out there".
It will be available in stores from October 19.
The burger contains a crunchy chicken fillet that is marinated in black pepper.
While the meat is also accompanied by lettuce, mayonnaise with a hint of truffle and is sandwiched between a four-inch artisan glazed bun.
A McCrispy extra-value meal is set to cost customers £6.49.
The rollout of the new burger comes after the item was trialled in 50 branches across the country in March.
After it was a hit with customers, they have decided to roll it out across its stores from next week.
