Just Stop Oil activist has been slammed as "anti-human" by a GB News guest for the demonstrations at fuel sites across the UK.

Just Stop Oil spokesman and former oil and gas worker Neil Rothine reiterated the demands of the controversial organisation on Dan Wootton Tonight.

He said: "The Demand from Just Stop Oil is that we stop issuing licenses, that we stop exploring the North Sea for gas and we stop developing new oil resources."

Today, the climate change campaigners staged a protest at an oil facility near Heathrow Airport on their fourth day of action causing significant disruption on roads.

Drag row

Over the weekend Just Stop Oil blocked oil depots in Grays, Purfleet, Buncefield, Tamworth and central Birmingham.

More than 80 people were arrested in Essex over the weekend, while 14 were held in Staines in Surrey, and six were arrested in Birmingham.

Responding to Mr Rothine, Guest Lois Perry said: " For them to say the only thing they’re doing is calling for new licences to be issued is rubbish.

"They’re sitting there blocking, obstructing, they don’t care about normal people.

"They don’t care about people being able to get to work, they don’t care about people being able to get deliveries, they don’t care about people full stop.

Ms Perry continued: "This is just absolutely anti-human stuff! It’s disgusting, absolutely disgusting. They love insulating homes, but insulation is made using oil!

Police have said they have now arrested 275 people for obstructing the oil tankers.
