Isabel, who stepped on to the red-carpet for tonight’s awards wearing a stunning Isabella Kristensen dress, said: “It’s great to be able to be a part of these awards celebrating the very best of British TV.

"We’ve so much to be proud of. The industry went two years without being able to come to awards like this due to Covid, so it’s fantastic to be able to get back to normality.

“But yes there’s a bit of sadness on my part too, because Eamonn was due to be here tonight with me. He’s still recovering from his accident so was unable to make it.

“I’ve promised I’ll send him a few pictures and let him know any gossip. I’m missing him loads, and everyone at GB News is looking forward to having Eamonn back soon.”
