Changes to government's travel list take place 4am Monday 19th July

Ibiza, Mallorca and Menorca are set to be added to the government’s amber travel list from 4am on Monday.

If you are not fully vaccinated under the UK vaccination programme, you will have to quarantine on arrival in England and take both the day 2 and day 8 tests.

If you are fully vaccinated you will still need to take a Covid-19 test before arriving in England.

Cuba, Indonesia, Myanmar and Sierra Leone have been added to the red travel list to safeguard the domestic vaccine rollout and public health.

Visitors who have departed from or transited through these countries and territories in the previous 10 days will be refused entry into England. Only British and Irish citizens, or those with residence rights – including long-term visa holders – will be allowed to enter and must stay in a Government-approved facility for 10 days.

Croatia and Bulgaria will be added to the green travel list from Monday.

Government data up to July 13 shows that of the 81,192,857 Covid jabs given in the UK so far, 46,037,090 were first doses, a rise of 59,073 on the previous day.

Some 35,155,767 were second doses, an increase of 158,276.

As of 9am on Wednesday, there had been a further 42,302 lab-confirmed Covid-19 cases in the UK, the Government said – the highest daily reported rise since January 15.

A further 49 people had died within 28 days of testing positive for Covid-19 as of Wednesday. It brings the UK total to 128,530
