Heinz Beanz Pizzas disappeared from supermarkets in 2003 but are making a comeback later in November

A pizza that has not been seen on UK supermarket shelves for almost 20 years is set to make a comeback.

Heinz Beanz Pizzas, which have been described as a “90’s classic”, disappeared from supermarkets in 2003.


But now, Heinz have announced that their former favourite will be returning to Iceland shelves.

Heinz wrote on Twitter: “You asked, and we have delivered

The classic 90’s BEANZ PIZZA IS BACK to join the rest of our fab frozen range including our Beanz Burgerz, Beanz Bowlz ready meals and Hash Browns. Who’s excited?”

“Available in Iceland Foods from the end of November.”

While Iceland added: "We’re delighted to be relaunching the Heinz Beanz Pizza in stores this month.

“It’s as iconic as it gets in the freezer aisles.

“We’re ecstatic that Iceland customers will be first to try it.”

Fans of the pizzas have taken to Twitter to reveal their excitement at the news.

One user wrote: “Omg I used to love these !! Definitely be picking one up !”

While another said: “Remember burning my mouth every time on these bad boys. Top pizza!”

A third added: “BAKED BEAN PIZZA IS BACK OMG I NEED.”
