The retired football manager was a big hit on the 2019 series of the show

Harry Redknapp has refused to rule out appearing in the new I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! special.

Redknapp, who is best known for his 34-year football management career, was a fan's favourite when he won the show in Australia back in 2019.

But now, ITV are reportedly lining up an all-star edition of the show.

The special edition will feature some of the most memorable characters from its 21 series’ to date.

Speaking exclusively on GB News’ Dan Wootton Tonight, Redknapp was probed about the potential new show.

And he refused to rule out an appearance.

He said: “I don’t know about that, that would be a challenge, I don’t know that would be interesting."

When asked asked about whether he’d be interested in appearing on it, the retired football manager said: “South Africa, great country, I love South Africa.

“I don’t know let’s see what happens, if they asked me I’d have to think about it.

“It would be a real challenge again now, I enjoyed every minute of it last time.

“I met some great people, made some great friends, but yes, if they’re interested in me doing it I’d have a chat with them for sure.”
