Evanna Lynch, who played Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter films, told Eamonn and Isabel on the breakfast show about how much the cast valued JK Rowling, regardless of her beliefs.
The author of the fantasy series has come under fire for airing her views on trans rights in a number of controversial tweets.
The Gloucestershire-born author even had to call in police after activists posted pictures of her address online.

"She has her beliefs and she's doing her thing.
"It's been a very difficult conversation and i don't want us to keep fighting so i reject that narrative there's been a cold shoulder."
The Luna Lovegood actress also rejected the idea that JK Rowling had not been invited to the Harry Potter reunion show.
I" think she's busy writing books, i don't think that's about conversations that have been had about more controversial issues
