Gogglebox legend Jenny Newby has been admitted to hospital, her best friend and co-star Lee Riley has confirmed.
Jenny, 65, has become a fan favourite on the Channel 4 show where families and friends are filmed watching television.
Jenny and Lee have appeared together on the show for many years from their caravan in Hull.
Speaking at Sunday night’s BAFTA awards, Lee gave an update on Jenny, who was nowhere to be seen.

Lee said: "She is not very well, she is having an operation, a mini one, but she is recovering well though.
"She was invited but the appointment was in BAFTA week. You can't turn down an NHS operation down can you? But she is doing well."
His comments come after fans of the show were left concerned after Jenny and Lee were nowhere to be seen on last week’s episode of Gogglebox which aired on Friday.
One person said on Twitter: "Why are Jenny and Lee not on Gogglebox tonight."
A third added: This show isn’t the same without Jenny and Lee! where are they tonight?!#gogglebox".
While another said: "Where are Jenny and Lee?”
Gogglebox bagged the Constructed Reality award at last week's BAFTAs, with Lee appearing on stage to receive the prize.
