English man stabbed to death outside Algarve apartment

The victim reportedly suffered multiple blows and was also subjected “to resuscitation manoeuvres on the spot by firefighters from Albufeira and INEM”.

Local newspaper Correio da Manha reports that a suspect has already been detained after the incident occurred in the coastal city of the Algarve region.

It is not yet known if the dead man lived in Portugal or was on holiday there.

The flat where the killing occurred has been described as being part of a tourist complex where foreign tourists usually stay.
