A Britain's Got Talent impressionist claimed her husband was having an affair live on GB News.

Initially speaking on To The Point about being scammed out of £90,000, Francine Lewis went on to make the astonishing allegations about her husband, who she has been with for 17 years.

Francine claimed she had only found out about the alleged extramarital affair the night before coming on air.

She told us: “I’m really worried that there’ so many scams going on all the time, but do you know what’s really ironic?

“Stuck with my husband through this whole thing, got through it and then last night found out he’s cheating on me with his best friend’s girlfriend.

“You know what? I wish I’d gone there and then because he put me in that situation and now he’s put me in this situation. I’m devastated.

“I’m still in shock and numb but you know what? I’ll get through it. I have to, I’ve got two children.

“I just feel like such an idiot again.”

Hosts Patrick Christys and Inaya Folarin Iman comforted Francine after her revelation, telling her she is a "strong woman".

Patrick added: "You’re not an idiot at all, this sort of thing could happen to anybody at any time. The bravery to come on and talk abut it and help others speaks volumes about your character."

When contacted by GB News, Joel Ryan denied having affair but did admit he had been "sexting" another woman.

"I haven’t had an affair and I totally deny all of the claims made against me.

"I sent some messages to a friend’s partner and I hugely regret sending them, but I did not cheat or have an affair.

"I love Francine very much and I am ashamed of what I did and deeply sorry for the hurt I have caused.

"I just want to focus on my marriage."
