A Boris Johnson scarecrow went missing in Stowmarket on Monday.

Sharon Kulesa who created the model Johnson thinks it went missing sometime in the morning of the 18th of October.

Speaking to the East Anglian Daily Times, she said: "Last year in the second lockdown Stowmarket had a scarecrow trail to cheer people up.”

"I thought I would join in and make a scarecrow of Boris Johnson because I thought it would be funny.”

"He stayed on my fence for about five months, and I put all different costumes on him including an elf costume.”

Sharon Kulesa said she had spent more time on a newer version of Boris Johnson, saying she “moulded his face better” and had plans to dress him in a variety of different costumes.

Residents in Stowmarket who were fans of the Boris Johnson scarecrow have reportedly voiced their anger and concern, with the East Anglian Daily Times saying someone had commented on Facebook that her children saw the scarecrow every day
