Border Force officer charged with supplying and offering to supply Class A drugs

A Border Force officer has appeared in court charged with supplying and offering to supply class A drugs.
Gareth Davies, 42, of Boscombe Road in Folkestone was initially arrested in January last year, near his place of work in Folkestone.
The investigation, led by the National Crime Agency’s Anti-Corruption Unit, concerns the alleged supply of ecstasy tablets.
Davies appeared before Folkestone Magistrates today and has been bailed, pending his next court appearance at Maidstone Crown Court on 4 January next year.
