Marnie Clayton, 18, was found by police after a country-wide appeal from Thames Valley Police.

A 21-year-old man has been charged with a stalking offence over the disappearance of a teenager who vanished after leaving a Windsor nightclub.

Abid Khan, of Cardigan Gardens, Reading, Berkshire, is accused of one count of stalking involving fear of violence and will appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.

This follows a police hunt for Marnie Clayton, 18, who was found in Basingstoke, Hampshire, on Monday afternoon after last being seen at Atik nightclub on William Street in Windsor at around 2am on Sunday.

Her family had reported her missing at 3am on Sunday when she did not return home.
