Martin Lewis reveals how you can save hundreds of pounds by spending just £1 today - 'Absolute genius!'

The clever loophole could potentially save people hundreds of pounds a year and can be done in just minutes
Martin Lewis has revealed a brilliant way to save hundreds of pounds spending just £1.
The Money Saving Expert explained a clever way to save on cinema bills by exploiting a loophole.

By paying just £1 to price comparison site Compare the Market and taking out travel insurance for one day, users are eligible to take advantage of the company’s two-for-one cinema ticket scheme.
The travel insurance will give you access to the promotion for an entire year.

It can be used every Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Meerkat Movies promotion also works with the company’s services including car, home, life and pet insurance.
With most cinema tickets costing around £9.99, the potential savings for avid cinema goers could be huge.
Reacting, Twitter user Deej said: "I don’t know why Martin Lewis does what he does but he’s a modern day hero. And staying true to form, he’s put out an idea that is absolutely genius. Pay £1 for a day of travel insurance to benefit from things like 2-for-1 cinema tickets/meals for a year."

Last month, Martin revealed an easy way to dry clothes for mere pennies which does not require any heating.
As the cost of living increases and temperatures drop across the UK, households are trying to use energy fleetingly.
On his podcast, he explained that by using a dehumidifier, households can get the same result without having to use more energy.
Once the upfront cost of purchasing the dehumidifier has been spent, the device will only cost 7p an hour to operate.
