Andrew Neil joins GB News as chairman and presenter of the prime-time flagship news and politics programme, which he combines alongside his role as chairman of The Spectator.

A proud Scotsman, he was appointed editor of the Sunday Times by Rupert Murdoch in 1983 and held the position until 1994. Andrew has experience setting up new broadcast news channels, having been part of Sky TV's launch in 1988 as a founding chairman.

Most recently, Andrew worked for the BBC for more than 20 years until 2020, hosting various shows, including Sunday Politics and This Week on BBC One and Daily Politics, Politics Live and The Andrew Neil Show on BBC Two.

Andrew's daily show on GB News will take on the biggest hitters in politics and news, live from 8pm-9pm every weeknight.
